About The 2018 Toy Fair

Toy Fair 2017 — which takes place Feb. 18 to 21, 2018 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City — is open only to professionals in the play industry and is not open to members of the public. The show is hosted by the Toy Industry Association™, Inc., a nonprofit trade group that represents businesses providing youth entertainment products. TIA has about 750 members, which represent 90 percent of the $22 billion yearly U.S. domestic toy market, the association reports.

*Toy Fair registration is open to the trade only; Toy Fair is not open to the public.
NO ONE under the age of 18, including infants, will be admitted.

If you provide a product or service targeting the children and youth entertainment market, you’ll want to consider exhibiting at Toy Fair. Exhibitors typically include businesses from every area of the toy industry, such as distributors, importers, manufacturers, and retailers. Products shown include traditional and classic toys along with cutting-edge technological and interactive entertainment options. To exhibit, visit the Toy Fair website.

Last Year’s Toy Fair Was a Huge Hit

The 2016 Toy Fair show displayed hundreds of thousands of the latest toys and games. The show predicted a number of trends for the 2016 toy season, including open-ended types of play that let children create, build and imagine. Water-themed toys were a hit, as were dinosaurs and “smart play” items focused on educational toys.

Hundreds of global executives from the toy industry gathered for the annual Toy of the Year awards and the Toy Industry Hall of Fame ceremony. And as an added treat, Internet personality Grumpy Cat stopped by the show for a visit.
